The house was just a shell with windows when we got there. We made it the rustic showplace it is today. We installed all new flooring, woodwork, and trim, along with handmade interior doors. We built a cypress deck, with a railing that looks just like wrought iron but is actually stainless steel, so it will never rust. The owners wanted each of the four bathrooms to be a luxurious retreat. We outfitted these with all new custom tile, vanities, and fixtures and added a sauna-cum-spa.
