The homeowners wanted a usable basement for entertaining. We used laminate flooring and shiplap on the walls to make the space cozy and ready for guests. Since the basement exits on grade, there was plenty of natural light. We replaced the solid door to the exterior with a sliding glass door and created a welcoming entryway.
